 1 15 / 11 / 2010  Anadarko

Anadarko Discovers Oil Offshore Sierra Leone. The Mercury well in offshore block SL-07B-10 encountered approximately 114 net feet of light sweet crude oil with a gravity of between 34 and 42 degrees API, with no water contact. An additional 21 net feet of 24-degree gravity crude was encountered in a shallower secondary objective.

 2 6 / 9 / 2010  Oilex

Significant Reserves Identified at Cambay Field low permeability (“tight”) Eocene reservoirs in Gujarat, India. Oilex will, subject to Joint Venture and Indian Government approval, further evaluate the “tight” reservoir potential with drilling and production testing using modern, multi-stage fracture stimulation technology. These operations are expected to continue through the first half of 2011 as equipment and materials become available.

Dana Gas announces a new discovery and the start of new production in Egypt. The discovery well ‘South Abu El Naga-1ST’ is the fourth 2010 gas discovery for Dana Gas in Egypt, following the three previously announced gas discoveries: El Pansieya-1, South Faraskur-1 and Ward Delta-1. New production in August from the Sharabas & Faraskur fields via its El Wastani gas plant. This brought the total Egypt production to 230 MMscfd, plus 7000 bpd of condensate and LPG on August 31st 2010.

 7 24 / 6 / 2010  Total

Tota, in association with Conoil Producing Limited, has discovered hydrocarbons in the central portion of the Oil Mining Lease OML 136, offshore Western Nigeria. The Agge-3B.T1 well discovered several gas bearing reservoirs totaling a gross thickness in excess of 150 metres. A production test performed over the lower intervals yielded a production of 21 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 36/64’’ choke.

New well confirms Tupi potential, Santos Basin, Brazil; BG Group today confirmed the success of a new well known as Tupi Alto (3-BRSA-821-RJS or 3-RJS-674) on block BM-S-11. The information obtained from this well and other wells already drilled, reinforces the estimate of a potential 5 to 8 billion barrels of recoverable light oil and natural gas from the Tupi pre-salt reservoirs.

 9 7 / 4 / 2010  Eni

Eni and Sonangol make two new oil discoveries offshore Angola. During production tests, Nzanza-1 well produced oil at rates above 1,600 barrels/day. An analysis of the results indicates the potential for future production wells in excess of 5,000 barrels/day per well, when associated to artificial lift. At Cinguvu-1 the production test, limited by surface facilities, reached a maximum flow of 6,400 barrels/day of oil.

 10 16 / 3 / 2010  Petrobras

Petrobras, announces a new discovery of light oil in sandstone reservoirs located in the Sergipe Basin, in the post-salt layer of the Piranema area. The economically recoverable volume of oil is estimated at 15 million barrels. The discovery was made in the exploratory well 3-PRM-12-SES. The Company is analyzing the possibility of connecting well 3-PRM-12- SES to the production platform that is already operating in the Piranema field.
