 Petroplus Holdings announced that its investment vehicle, PBF Energy Partners, LP, entered into an agreement to acquire the 190,000 barrel per day Delaware City refinery, terminal and pipeline assets plus the 218 MW Power Plant Complex from Valero Energy Corporation. The purchase price consists of $170 million for the idled refinery and related assets and an additional $50 million for the Power Plant Complex.

 BP has received an offer from Delek Europe B.V., one of the largest fuel retailers in Europe and a subsidiary of the Delek Group Ltd, to buy its French retail fuels and convenience business including selected fuels terminals. The proposed purchase price is €180million (approximately US$251 million), in cash, subject to working capital adjustments.

 United Kingdom : Total acquires stake in Tobermory discovery. Agreements with Mobil North Sea LLC, Marathon Oil U.K., Ltd. and Anadarko North Sea Holding Company Limited to acquire a 43.75% stake in UK Licence No. P967, which includes the Tobermory discovery. Total E&P UK will become the operator of the licence.

 Eni completed its acquisition of a 51.69% equity interest in the Hewett Unit fields in the UK North Sea and related infrastructure, including the associated Bacton onshore gas processing terminal. Following this acquisition Eni's share in the Hewett Unit asset has grown to 89.31% with Perenco owning the remaining 10.69%.

 Gate terminal signs EUR 745 million senior project financing agreement. Gate LNG will have an initial throughput capacity of 9 billion cubic meters per year and is expected to be fully operational in the second half of 2011. The project costs are approximately EUR 800 million.

 Gaz de France selected as the strategic partner of PowerGas to develop and operate Singapore’s first LNG terminal. It is scheduled to be operational in 2012 and will have an initial capacity of 3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa). Gaz de France shall hold a 30% share of the Project Company.
