 GDF SUEZ and China National Offshore Oil Corporation sign a 2.6 million tons of LNG contract. Under this agreement, GDF SUEZ will sell CNOOC about 2.6 million tons of LNG from 2013 during a 4 year period, and the cargoes will be sourced from GDF SUEZ’ LNG portfolio. CNOOC has a diversified LNG supply portfolio of approximately 16 MTPA.

 Statoil and Poweo have signed a twenty year agreement for the supply of natural gas to Poweo’s projected 400 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power plant (CCGT) in Toul, France. Deliveries are planned to start on October 1st, 2012.

 Royal Dutch Shell plc updates on strategy to improve performance and grow. Upstream production is expected to reach 3.5 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (mboe/d) in 2012, an increase of 11% from 2009. In addition, the company is assessing over 35 new projects from some 8 billion barrels of oil equivalent resources (boe), which should underpin Upstream growth to 2020. Downstream continues to focus on profitability, with plans to exit 15% of refining capacity and 35% of retail markets, and growth investment to enhance the quality of manufacturing and marketing portfolios.

Resilient G&P earnings: €4.4 billion average EBITDA per year. Increased refining efficiency and higher sales in Europe: positive free cash flow from 2012. Efficiency program: new target of €2.4 billion of cost reductions in 2006-2013. Dividend growth in line with OECD inflation from 2011 at a 65$/bl scenario.

 ConocoPhillips Approves 2010 Capital Program. $11.2 billion, representing a 10 percent decrease from estimated 2009 expenditures.  Pakistani cabinet approves Gas Sale Purchase Agreement with Iran. The project is to transfer some 750 million cubic feet of gas per day. Construction of the pipeline is to be completed in five years. Although currently Pakistan and Iran have signed the gas deal but Islamabad insists that India can join the Iran gas line.

 Management Board approves gas deliveries contract with Russian OOO Gazprom Export. The subject of the contract is the delivery of 1.024 bcm of natural gas (in accordance to the Polish norms) over the period until 30 September 2009. The estimated contract value, based on the current oil product prices, is approx. USD 300m (approx. PLN 970m).
